Malbec 2008 - High North & Low South: continuing the theme from last year when we explored the terroir of Mendoza through its Malbecs, this year you can discover the regions of Neuquén, Rio Negro, San Juan, Catamarca, La Rioja and Salta. All the wines will be from the 2008 vintage and, as they were last year, all are complete one offs specially selected and prepared for this event.

Torrontés: the unique white grape variety of Argentina with a twin-engined combination of exotic aromas and citrus fruit flavours. Argentina’s winemakers have been pushing hard at the possibilites Torrontés has to offer both as a single varietal and as a blending tool. Here on this table you will find 25 examples including everything from sparkling to dessert wines.

Sparkling Wine: it’s a little known fact that Argentina has a large and growing sparkling wine industry – but see an Argentina picnic-ing in the plaza at the weekend and they’ll have a bottle of fizz by their side. This table will provide a palate spritzing opportunity that takes in all styles from white to pink to red.
